چکیده
• Forty-seven dowelled cross-laminated timber (CLT) connections were tested. Increased row spacing and end distance significantly increased ductility. Reinforcement by screws or threaded dowels with nuts enhanced performance. 3-ply (135 mm), 5-ply (175 mm ), 7-ply (275 mm) CLT panels employed. Overstrength ductility of determined. Dowel embedment tests performed to determine theoretical overstrength. This paper presents an experimental study assess the structural performance hold-down that are critical components for a shear wall under seismic loads. It aims quantify connection increasing in dowel layout compared standard spacing/distance specified design standards. A total 47 specimens three-, five-, seven-layer layups tested monotonic cyclic loading. Additional attempt was also made investigate benefits applying screw reinforcement deter onset potential brittle failure modes mode cross-over. Structural Tests of Concrete Composite - Cross - Laminated Timber Floors Final Report
Experimental tests of a composite concrete-cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor system were conducted. The floor system was constructed with 5-ply CLT panels (6.75 in. thick) made composite with a 2.25 in. thick reinforced concrete topping slab. Four series of tests were performed using different specimen configurations and laboratory testing methods. Tests included: (1) Comparative one-way bendi...
متن کاملStructural Health Monitoring of Glued Laminated Timber with a Novel Air-coupled Ultrasound Method
Recent years have witnessed an increased use of glued timber products in construction, due to their highlights in versatility and sustainability. It is therefore a demanding necessity to develop non-destructive integrity assessment methods for structural health monitoring of timber constructions, both during production and utilization. Particularly, the integrity and load bearing capacity of th...
